This drug is administered as an adjunct to diet and exercise therapy to improve blood sugar control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
-Monotherapy
-Combination therapy

This drug is administered at a dose of 100 mg once a day when used as monotherapy or combination therapy, and the maximum daily dose is 100 mg. This medicine can be taken without regard to meals.

When co-administered with sulfonylurea or insulin, reduction of sulfonylurea or insulin may be considered to reduce the risk of sulfonylurea- or insulin-induced hypoglycemia.

For patients with renal impairment, since dosage adjustment is necessary depending on renal function, it is recommended to evaluate renal function periodically before and after administration of this drug.
