Valsan Tab
Per tablet,
Valsartan 80 mg
Hypertension, heart failure, post-MI & in addition to lifestyle modifications, delay of the progression to type 2 diabetes in hypertensive patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) at CV risk
Hypertension Recommended dose : 80 or 160 mg once daily, may be increased to 320 mg once daily.
Heart failure Starting dose : 40 mg bid, up-titrated to 80 & 160 mg bid. Max. : 320 mg daily in divided doses.
Post-MI initially 20 mg bid, up-titrated to a max of 160 mg bid.
Progression of type 2 diabetes in hypertension patients with ICT and CV risk Recommended dose : 80 or 160 mg once daily. When started on 80 mg, up titrate t0 160 mg as tolerated.
